Tempera on masonite mural study depicting a farmer with cornstalk and a miner(?) with pickaxe, farm and industry scene with railroad in background; the mural symbolizes agriculture on one side and industry on the other, linked in the background by the railroad and the post office; the separation of the groups and their absolute balance reinforce the equal importance of the two sides of the economy.
