Content description: Circular bronze medal depicting on obverse side a hand emerging from the water holding a trident set against a port with cranes loading various goods and cargo; reverse side depicts a ship at sea sailing next to visible sea mines floating in the water as air planes fly against clouds in the background; the Dutch coat of arms (a crowned rampant lion holding a sword and arrows) is located at top center flanked with barbed wire.
