- Original oil on canvas painting depicting women laborers making 15-inch artillery shells at the Singer Manufacturing Company, originally a sewing machine factory converted to produce munitions during the First World War; mounted in gessoed and gilded decorative frame with border of fruit, flowers and leaves; this is a study for a larger painting in the Imperial War Museum, London.
