The Department has requested discussion and comment
on the proposed changes to the State's rule governing
water well construction.

3. Discussion of proposed Public Works Rule (Department)

The Department has requested discussion and comment
on the proposed rule governing selection and support
of Florida Public Works project involving federal

4. Discussion of proposed rule establishing a Water Policy for the
Department and State (Department)

5. Status of other rules currently under revision by the Department:

b. 17-4, FAC

6. Discussion of needed or proposed legislation for the 1981 session.

a. Water Management District Funding

Questions pertinent to this discussion might include:
What is the general fiscal outlook of the State?; To
what extent will the Governor's office and the Depart-
ment support funding of District operations?; What is
the Legislature's, Governor's and Department's current
position on funding of Water Management District programs
to acquire land for water quality maintenance, non-
structural flood control and necessary conventional
flood control purposes?; What are the funding needs
of the respective Districts?; Are there any positions
the District's can all agree to support?
