Subject: Development of Florida Water Resources Historical Collection, FL-

I am writing to obtain your support for an initiative to develop a Florida Water Resources
Historical Collection or something like that. This is an idea which Kathryn Mennella
and I have recently discussed. In essence, this would be a compendium of oral and
written accounts i'hother information -cniceiing the evolution of the institution of
water management i Fnrida.,:

I would like to kick-off this initiative at the Annual Water Management Conference in
October. At this event, we would announce the scope of the project, seek volunteers and
contributions, etc.

Should this initiative be of interest to you, we would like to scope out a plan and group of
individuals to begin the project. A very preliminary rough outline is attached.
