It would be most helpful if you would correlate each listed item with the original statutory
recommendation of the commission and, where applicable, the most current legislative position
and provide the information on disk to Linda Long of my office by early next week. Linda will
then distribute the information, with each issue listed on a separate page, to members of the work
group.
If you have questions or need further information please contact Linda at (904)222-7535 and she
should be able to reach me. Otherwise I can be reached at (904)566-0970 as of next Wednesday.
By copy of this letter I am transmitting the Commission's Report on "Proposed Statutory
Changes to Implement Recommendations" and the amendment to CS/SB 1728 which was
considered by the Florida Senate during the closing hours of the 1996 legislative session.
Thanks.
