RE: Consumptive Use Permit Application #7500003

The City

of St. Petersburg has applied for a consumptive use permit to
the following quantities of water from their Section 21 well
675 acre (mol) parcel in the Northwest Hillsborough Basin).

Maximum Daily 22 m.g.d.
Average Daily 9 m.g.d.
Said water is to be piped to the City of St. Petersburg where it will
enter the City's distribution system.

1. That the Board waive 2.11(4b) on the grounds that this application
is for an existing use.
2. That the Board waive 2.11(3) on the basis that regulatory levels
have been established according to 16J-0.15(5); and further, the
data collected indicates these levels are doing an adequate job
of protecting the water resources of the area.

3. That a consumptive use permit be granted with the following

a. That the City of St yersburg regulate withdrawals as
described in Order J-'6with the following sections

1) Provision 3a (providing for a pumpage cap).

2) That part of provision 3c which allows the applicant
to withdraw quantities of water which would cause the
cumulative weekly average to drop below the regulatory
level for the first six weeks of each production year.

b. That the permit expire December 31, 1980.
