Staff Sgt. Jonathan Hollis

Airman Glenn Moore

Sergeant Hollis receives the Checkertail Salute War-
rior of the Week award from Brig. Gen. Tod Wolters,
325th Fighter Wing commander.
Sergeant Hollis installed and maintained the 325th
CONS' new computer server, supporting more than 55
users with all daily contract actions and issues. He also
ensured the congressionally-mandated contract report-
ing was accurately completed, on time.

Duty title: NCOIC plans and programs
Hometown: West Palm Beach, Fla.
Time on station: eight months
Time in service: eight years
Hobbies: I like basketball, football and
jazz music. Also, spending time with my
Goals: To one day make strategic de-
signs to better our Air Force.
Favorite thing about Tyndall AFB:
It's my home state and the white sand
Favorite movie: Delta Blues
Pet Peeves: People talking while others
are speaking.
Proudest moment in the military: Mak-
ing staff sergeant in the time set forth in
my personal goal.
The Checkertail Salute is a 325th Fighter Wing
commander program designed to recognize
Tyndall's Warrior of the Week. Supervisors can
nominate individuals via their squadron and
group commanders. Award recipients receive
a certificate, letter from the commander and a
one-day pass.

Embracing Heritage

Staff Sgt. Natalia Cobbins, 325th Air Control Squadron,
performs an African dance during the Black History Month
Luncheon Feb. 27 at the Enlisted club.
The luncheon featured music, dance, poetry and guest speak-
er Honor Bell, chief of naval education and training. The lun-
cheon provided Tyndall with an event to come together and
celebrate Black History Month and their heritage.
