houses were granted in 1769 (known as No. 2 in Contractor's
Block) to Witter Cuming. By an affidavit signed John
Leslie it is claimed that the lot was the property of
Jon (IwleT-ialmost illegible) who sold it to Alexander
& elie who deeded it to Mary and John Arbarister.
