does not lessen the requirement that they be provided in the buildings,
within the required travel distances, and that they be mounted in approved
mainer as opposed to sitting in shelves or on the floor where they are
highly susceptible to tip-over damage.

Southwest Stairwell
Stairs continue to the basement, past the level of exit
discharge. There is no barrier or visible interception
to prevent occupants going to basement in search of the
non-existant approved exit discharge. The level of exit
discharge is not indicated in an approved manner. (5)

Door at first floor, leading to eixt, is side-hinged so
as to obstruct free passage. Shall be hinged on opposite

lighting provided and there are no approved exit indication
