Pursuant to your letter of May 29th, I have requested
Pete Thompson to make an independent appraisal of the
Montgomery House on Treasury Street. He has agreed
and you will receive a letter from him shortly.

It is my personal opinion that a fair market value of
this property today is $45,000oo.00. Its historic value
is considerable and its location certainly adds im-
measurably to that particular feature.
