p. 27, Sale. March 15. Gov. Quesada at request of Treasury officials issues proclam
tion Oct. 20, 1990 stating that by deaht of Jesse Fish and his son's removal
to England, the state of El Bergel and other properties revert to the Spanis
Crown. The executors Leslie and Travers explain that part of property servan
non possunt (probably servare is correct form, meaning "they can not protect
the houses going to ruin from neglet, and Governor ordered appraisal and sal
for benefit of Royal Treasury latter part of 1790. One of the houses of co-

purchaser S., and Manuel Almanza W. Measures in front N-S 20 yds. and
E-W 52 1/2, Property bought from Pablo Cortinas, Oct. 27, 1791.
(Marginal note: Decree of(Jyly)19,(l798)in accordance with opinion of
the Assessors General in proceeding instigated by Jose borente claim-
ing that the Kink owns a projection of Gindarramda lot which measures
18 yds. E*W, 22 yds S and 21 yds. 2 ft. 3 inches North bounded on first
side by said Lorente on 2nd side by Luisa Perez, on 3d side by said
Guadarrama and 4th side by Francisco Sanchez. By this document noted
in margin it is ordered to be included as formerly in Guadarrama's
lot. 1atet July 21, 1798.
