That the year of '88 [1788] Dofa Victoriana Ouillen handed over to her a

stone maonry hoase almost in shambles, for her to reside in and oare for until

such time as the governor determined the disposition of this property, which is

located in front of the house that Don Tadeo de Arribas resides in today; and

having been sold at public auction, and purchased by a new settler named M1
Ra1o Micklassuisioh. He notified the exponent to vaca e the house because it

had been purchased from His Majesty. She did precisely that, moving to another.

But, at last, after a few days he requested, the said settler, that she return

to reside in tne said house while he went to New Georgia to bring his family

[f.2] and possessions. She agreed to aooept it [the house] with the idea of
looking for another house, in the meanti e in which she might be able to take

shelter, the supplicant. ( ) in as much as are has not found the

suommned settler to recover the dwelling, and the exponent has purchased a

mall house for shelter:

Therefore, she prays to Your Exoellenay that in view of this,

she has to abandon the summoned house of the settler, you may be pleased to

order, or direct that she might receive it or surrender it to someone you dee

as suitable. She hopes to obtain benefaction from the equity of Your xoelleany.
