CQ.} :

In line with the national trend in every branch of agriculture, FOREMOST
DAIRY PRODUCTS, INC., has set out definitely to unify the marketing end .
of the dairy business in the southeastern states. One of its main tenets is to .:
provide a profitable income for the producer on the one hand and to make : ,
these products available to the consumer at the lowest possible price, on the '
other hand. This.may seem somewhat paradoxical,but it is entirely feasible. .,
and practicable.

In the first place, FOREMOST has no intention of entering the producingfield.
That is a job which the individual dairy farmer can handle to best
advantage. FOREMOST is concerned almost entirely'with the processingand
distribution phases of the dairy industry. The objective to which FOREMOST -

'. is committed,namely,that of returning a profit to the farmer and providing .. .:.
dairy products to the consumer at reasonable cost, can be attained t.
44'1 through the following:
1. Elimination of cost of 4uplication of plants and equipment. J
_,' ."
." 2. Co-ordination of purchasing and the development of a steady'

7. Broader diversification of products through a larger organization ":.

and adequate capital. ...;.. .;

A saving to the consumer is inevitable because of the higher quality product,
distributed at lower cost. Profit to the producer will follow through the de- ';. "'
velopment of more uses for dairy products,and the promise of a year-around ;
market / .

A unified marketing organization,as represented by FOREMOST DAIRY J
PRODUCTS, means much,to.the future of Florida dairymen.
