Proclamation dated 16th May, 1956, bringing into
operation the Slaughter and Exportation of
Livestock and Poultry (Prohibition) Ordi-
nance, 1955, (No. 19 of 1955).

BY THE ACTING ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
PRESIDENCY OF SAINT CHRISTOPHER NEVIS
AND ANGUILLA.
A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section 9 of the Slaughter and Ex-
portation of Livestock and Poultry (Prohibition)
Ordinance, 1955 (No. 19 of 1955) it is provided that the
said Ordinance shall come into operation on such date
as the Governor shall fix by proclamation published in
the Gazette.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, HENRY ANTHONY
CAMILLO HOWARD, Acting Administrator of the
Presidency of Saint Christopher Nevis and Anguilla, do
by this my proclamation declare that the said Ordinance
shall come into operation on the 31st day of May, 1956.

GIVEN at the Government House, Saint Christo-
pher this 16 h day of May, 1956, and in the fifth
