It is notified for general information that consequent
upon the absence from the Presidency of St. Christopher
Nevis and Anguilla of His Honour Hugh Burrowes, Admin-
istrator of the said Presidency, on his secondment as
Deputy Chief Liaison Officer with the British West Indies
Central Labour Organisation in Washington, His Excellen-
cy the Governor of the Leeward Islands has appointed
Lieutenant Colonel the Honourable Henry Anthony Camillo
Howard, Commissioner of the Virgin Islands, to act as Ad-
ministrator of the Presidency of St. Christopher Nevis and
Anguilla with effect from 16th March, 1956.

Lieutenant Colonel the Honourable H. A. C. Howard
today subscribed to the prescribed oaths and assumed the
administration of the Government of the Presidency.
