SUMMARY.
He reports that xh ile it is true that the ports ol the Island
of Trinidad and tlie Province of Gua\ana are closed yet the
English and Dutch ships persist in going and trading there.
Since the galleons had visited, about ten or eleven ships
had visited.
He recommends tht the sowing of Tobacco be prohibited
in thte Island 1 l'rilithlidl so that the enemy will find nothing
to obtain and gi\e up this trade and so no longer go there.
In consequence the pearl fisheries of Margarita would eb
relieved ronom these raiders.
