Ist Mlay, 1596.
SUMMARY,
Don Pedro de Salazar, Governor of Margarita, reports
that on the Ioth of April Domingo de Vera arrived at the
Island of Trinidad with 1,500 men and women for El Dorado.
They had come in six fliboats which went on in charge of
Don Bernadino de Muxica, five to San Domingo and one to
Caracas.
Don Pedro reports that he had furnished men as guides
who knew the country of Guayana to help Antonio de Berrio
and Domingo de Vera in their expedition since it is only
shortness of time which stands in the way of success".
