Abstract: |
A prolonged drought in 1981 along with the increasing influx of people into Florida (over 6,000 a week) is causing a water problem. Dr. Daniel Spangler expresses his concern and says that the aquifer (from where the water is pumped) can eventually compact if it dries out and that this can cause a collapse (a sinkhole). |
