EASTERN CARIBBEAN CURRENCY (PARITY) ORDER, 1976.
(Gazetted 7th July, 1976).
The East Caribbean Currency Authority Order dated the sixth day of
July, 1976. Made by the East Caribbean Currency Authority under Article 9
of the East Caribbean Currency Agreement 1965 as amended.
In exercise of the power conferred by Article 9 of the East Caribbean
Currency Agreement the East Caribbean Currency Authority with the approval
in writing of each of the participating Governments hereby makes the following
Order-
1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the East Caribbean Currency
(Parity) Order, 1976.
2. Parity of the East Caribbean Dollar. The East Caribbean Dollar shall
have a parity of two dollars and seventy cents to one United States dollar.
3. Commencement. This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day

of Goods Act, 1975 (No. 33 of 1975) this 7th day of July, 1976.
