It is hereby notified for general information that in the event of a hurricane threatening
or approaching the Island, the following warnings will be given:-
(1) A red flag with a black
rectangular centre will
be flown on Police
Headquarters.
(2) Loud Speaker and
Radio announcements.
(3) Three saluting gun s
will be fired.

Stations.

FINAL HURRICANE WARNING
(1) Two red flags with black rectangular
centres one above the other will be flown
on Police Headquarters.
(2) Church Bells will ring for 5 minutes.
(3) The siren will blow for 5 minutes.

INTRODUCTION OF NOTICE (TICKET
SYSTEM) FOR COMPOUNDED
OFFENCES
The General Public is hereby notified that the
provisions of the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic
Regulations contained in S.R. & O. 1975 No. 30
which authorise the payment of the Compounded
Fine of Five dollars ($5.00) for Offences listed
in the scheduled to the Ticket System will be
brought into effect on 14th June, 1976.
Offenders against the Regulations specified in
S.R. & O. 30 of 1975 who fail to pay the Com-
pounded Fine of Five dollars ($5.00) within the
stipulated time will be liable to prosecution.

dollars ($25.00).

STREETS KINGSTOWN
The attention of the General Public is drawn
to the Regulations made by the Commissioner of
Police and Licensing Authority by the authority
of Section 79 (1) of the Motor Vehicle and Road
Traffic Ordinance 1940 No. 20 to take further
notice that the Regulation permitting Vehicular
Traffic to proceed from Granby Street West to
Granby Street East, gazetted and published on
3rd February, 1976 is further extended for a
period of Three (3) months with effect from 19th
May, 1976.

As a result of Act No. 6 of 1976, which
amended the Land and Iouse Tax Ordinance,
it is hereby notified for general information that
payments of Land and House Tax for the cur-
rent year will be received at the Land and House
Tax Office, Kingstown, and the Revenue Offices
at Georgetown, Barrouallie, Bequia and Union
Island from 1st August to 30th September, 1976,
and at Sandy Bay. Co!onarie, Biabou, Meso-
potamia, Layou and Chateaubelair on the fol-

Colonarie: Every Thursday during
the month of August and
September
Biabou: 10th August and 13th

10th, 17th September.
Land and House Tax Bailiffs will attend at
the places beyond the Revenue Offices on the
above specified dates and defaulters should avail
themselves of the opportunity to have their
arrears of taxes settled.
