A PROCLAMATION.

RUPERT G. JOHN,
Governor.
WHEREAS a resolution of no confidence in the Government of Saint
Vincent was passed by a majority of all the elected members of the House of
Assembly on the 18th day of September, 1974:
AND WHEREAS, on the 21st day of September, 1974, the Premier advised
the Governor that Parliament be dissolved:
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that Parliament be dissolved:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RUPERT GODFREY JOHN, Governor of Saint
Vincent, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 48 of the
Constitution of Saint Vincent, do hereby dissolve Parliament.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of Saint Vincent at Govern-
ment House in Saint Vincent this 23rd day of September One thousand
nine hundred and seventy-four and in the Twenty-third year of the
Reign of Her Majesty QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND.
