FOR COMMUNICATIONS & WORKS
With reference to Gazette Notice No. 226 of 10th September, 1968, the
Honourable S. E. SLATER, Minister for Communications and Works resumed
duty on Wednesday, 25th September, 1968.

ABSENCE OF HON. CHIEF MINISTER/MINISTER OF FINANCE
The Honourable R. MILTON CATO, Chief Minister/Minister of Finance left
St. Vincent on Wednesday, 25th September, 1968 on official duties in Trinidad.
No. 243.
APPOINTMENT
Consequent on the absence from the Territory of the Honourable R. M. CATO,
Chief Minister/Minister of Finance, the Honourable S. E. SLATER, Minister for
for Communications and Works, has been appointed to act as Chief Minister and
Minister of Finance with effect from 25th September, 1968 and until further
notice.
The Honourable H. K. TANNIS, Minister of State, will continue to act as
Minister for Communications and Works.
