1965, No. 25.

JOHN DERE KNIGHT (PROHIBITED IMMIGRANT) ORDER, 1965.

(Gazetted 8th October, 1965).

WHEREAS by paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section 4 of the Immigra-
tion (Restriction) Ordinance, 1939, No. 2 of 1939, it is provided that the
Adniinistrator in Council from information or advice received from any Gov-
ernment whether British or foreign through official or diplomatic channels may
deem any person not belonging to the Colony to be an undesirable immigrant
or visitor to the Colony:

AND WHEREAS on information received through an official channel the
Administrator in Council deems John Derek Knight a person not belong-
ing to the Colony to be an undesirable immigrant or visitor to the Colony:

AND WHEREAS under section 4 of the said Ordinance any person deemed
an undesirable immigrant or visitor to the Colony as aforesaid is a prohibited
immigrant.

Now THEREFORE the Administrator in Council in pursuance of the power
conferred upon him as aforesaid hereby orders and declares and IT IS
HEREBY ORDERED and DECLARED as follows:-

1. Short title. This Order may be cited as the John Derek Knight
(Prohibited Immigrant) Order, 1965.

2. Declaration. John Derek Knight a person not belonging to the Colony
is hereby deemed and declared to be an undesirable immigrant or visitor to the
Colony and as such a prohibited immigrant.

Made by the Administrator in Council under the authority of subsection
(1) of section 4 of the Immigration (Restriction) Ordinance, 1939, No. 2 of
1939, this 8th day of October, 1965.
