Part A---General Information

1. Location:

Limona is on the West'Coast, 11 miles east of Tempa. Tampa Bay is the '
nearest major body of water. The elevation is 45 feet.

2. TransDortation:

Limona is in Florida Highway 60. The Seaboard Air Line railroad provides
rail service. Florida transit provides bus service to Tampa, Air trans-
portation is not available from limona, but excellent service is available
from Tampa.

3. EMpu jtion:

.HiJlsborough County had a population of 207,844 in 1945, Limona is an
unincorporated tovn-and population figures Were not reported.

Limona vas settled by officials of the Elgin Watch Company and by tourists
from northern states.

The citrus industry is the major source of income here.

Quail, dove and rabbits are found in thib section. Unposted hunting
ground can be found within one-half mile. There are no hunting lodges or
hunting guides in this section.

10. Fishing:

Bass and bream are caught in five fresh water lakes in this vicinity.
There are no fishing camps or fishing guides here.

11. Churches:

United Brethern, Evangelical.

Part C---Acommodations

There are no hotels, tourist courts or eating places in Limona. There is
no trailer park but space for parking trailers can be provided. Informa-
tion on guest homes can be obtained from the Limona Civic Club.
