The Agricultural Experi-
ment Station (AES) Li-
~brary is a unit of the
SCollege of Agricultural
A Sciences, Mayaguez
Campus. It was estab-
lished in 1915 by
phytopathologist Dr.
John Stevenson.

It is a unit especially designed for
scientific research in the agricultural
sciences. However, it handles all
types of requests and provides ser-
vices to the public in general. Its
collection includes: books, journals,
documents, pamphlets, discs, com-
pacts, data bases and other re-
sources of importance.

At present, project C-503
"Technological Modernization of the
AES Library" is being developed.
The objective of this project is to
facilitate the user with the neces-
sary tools for a fast search of infor-
mation through printed and elec-
tronic resources. It is our goal to be
at the forefront in agricultural sci-
ences and technology.

The Library is located in the basement of the Biol-
ogy Building at the Rio Piedras Research Center of
the AES.

=> To help AES scientists in the search of re-
sources for their research work.

and adequate access to electronic resources.
