RE: Water Management Rules Uniformity

Dear Chuck:

On August 5, 1976 Barney Cortell, president, Florida Water
Well Association, Inc. wrote a letter to Jay Landers urging
establishment of equitable enforcement of rules relating
to water well drilling under Chapters 17-20 and 17-21.

This prompts me to remind you (but I'm sure you are doing
it already) to renumber Chapters 17-20 and 17-21 in a
manner consistent with the format which we agreed to at
our meeting on July 2, 1976.

Incidently, at the meeting on August 4, 1976 the governing
Board of Southwest Florida Water Management District
approved the renumbering system generally and authorized
us to proceed with the changes.

We need to meet again soon for the purpose of resolving any
differences we might have which have arisen while trying to
renumber the rules.
