3 A bill to be entitled
4 An Act relating to flood control, penalties;

5 amending chapter 378, Florida Statutes,
6 by adding a new section prescribing penalties

7 for violations; providing an effective
8 date.

9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
10 Florida:

11 Section 1. Chapter 378, Florida Statutes,

12 is amended by adding a new section 378.152 to read:

13 378.152 Penalties:--
14 Any person who violates any provision of this

15 law or any rule, regulation or order adopted or
16 issued pursuant thereto is guilty of a misdemeanor

17 and upon .conviction shall be subject to punishment
18 by imprisonment, not exceeding six (6) months or

19 fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00)

20 or both.

21 Section 2. This act shall take effect

22 immediately upon becoming a law.
