CITY CENTER WELL FIELD IN
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY,, FLORIDA


This matter came before the Board of Governors of the South-

west Florida Water Management District (Regulatory), hereinafter

referred to as "District," at a public meeting duly and pro-perly

held before the Board on October 11, 1972, pursuant to Stipulation,

dated October 9,, 1972, by and between the Southwest Florida Water

management District (Regulatory) ,a public corporation of the -State

of Florida, hereinafter referred to as "District," and Hillsborough

county, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, herein-m

after referred to as "County." The Board of Governors of the

District, having reviewed and carefully considered the Stipulation,















3. That the County operates well f ields, known as the River

view Well Field and the Sun City Center Well Field, respectively

located in Section 5, Township 31 Southl Range 20 East, Hills-

borough County, Florida, and Sections 6 and 7, Township 32 Southl

Range 20 East, Hillsboroug h County, Florida, for the withdrawal

of ground water.

4. That the lands described above, and the ground water with

drawn therefrom, are within the.boundaries of the District, and

the withdrawal therefrom is subj ect to the rules, regulations,

authority and orders. of the District, pursuant to Chapter .373,,

Florida Statutes .

5. That there now exists the necessity for evaluating' the

withdrawal of water from said well fields, in order to obtain-

the most beneficial use of the water. resources of the State and

to protect the public health, safety and welfare And the interests
of te waer sersaffeted
