A resolution expressing the policy of the Board of
County Commissioners of Pinellas County that in the acquisition
of needed water easements and well sites outside of Pinellas
\\ County, the Board wishes to convey to its neighboring counties
of Hillsborough and Pasco and to the Southwest Florida Water
Management District its support for the regionalization of
water resources; that the Board of County Commissioners has
already expressed to Pasco County directly and to Hillsborough
County indirectly through the City of St. Petersburg that both
of these counties may contractually participate in the use of
said water easements, resources and water transmission facilities;

and further authorizing the County Administrator and County
Attorney to negotiate any reasonable agreement with the
Southwest Florida Water Management District,whereby that agency
may satisfy its statutory objective and Pinellas County may
achieve an assured and vitally needed source of water, including
necessary transmission facilities.
