NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A CONSUMPTIVE USE
PERMIT FOR WATER IN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
The Southwest Florida Water Management District has received an application for a
Consumptive Use Permit from
City of St. Petersburg
P. 0. Box 2842
St. Petersburg, Fl.
for the continuing withdrawal of water under regulatory levels as established by
the Southwest Florida Water Management District for the Cosme-Odessa well field.
Written objections to the issuance of such permit may be filed with the Board of
Governors of the Southwest Florida Water Management District in person at its
office on U. S. 41, seven miles south of Brooksville, Florida, or by mail to
P. 0. Box 457, Brooksville, Florida 33512. Such objections must be received by
the Board not later than November 5, 1975. Any objections so filed should refer
to Application number 7500004, should set forth reasons for the objections, must
be signed by the objecting party and must give the address of the objecting party.
A hearing will be held before the Governing Board at its November 12th meeting
starting at about 1:30 p.m. to consider the application and all written objections
thereto, and to hear testimony and receive documentary evidence. Such hearing may
be continued to a time and date certain announced at the hearing without further
notice.
The application is on file at the District Office and available for inspection at
all reasonable times.
