1 17% State of Florida cash contribution for
continuation of construction of the following
on-going water management projects:
To complete Lake Tarpon Outfall canal structure;
To complete section 1-B Tampa By Pass Canal;
To continue construction section 1-C and 2,
Tampa By Pass Canal (to be completed in
late 1972);
To complete Levee 212 Oklawaha River Basin;
(Note: Rights of way already acquired. Paid
for from local ad valorem tax money)
Federal contribution at 83% $3,280,000
Absolute minimum necessary (17% of above) 557,600
LAND ACQUISITION
2. To complete purchase of Lower Hillsborough
Reservoir based on current appraisals -
(11,400 acres already acquired at cost
of $3,708,000)

3. To complete purchase of Green Swamp
Reservoir (42,000 acres already acquired
at cost of $2,355,000)

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
4. I-4 bridges over Tampa By Pass Canal (9 lanes
of traffic) this could be divided into two
contracts and the first contract deferred for
one year and the second contract deferred for
