General Note:
Stachelberg used such advertisement gimmicks appealed to elitism and snobbery, a favorite way to lure smokers to buy a particular brand. Imported Havana cigars were, of course, associated with a luxury since fine quality cigars were too expensive for the average smoker until they were produced in the United States.
