Tor over 150 years, the University ofTtorida has Seen archiving important documents
and events from its humSCe Beginnings, to the integration ofJifiican American students,
to its very recent foot SaCC victories, however, very tittte has Seen recorded aSout the
advent and progress of Asians and Asian Americans at the University. With the
exception of newspaper cCippings that have survived throughout the years and the
scrapSoo^ng of AASl) and its su6-organizations, there exists tittte history as compared
to many other communities. (But tet that not stop us from starting now so that future
generations vAttSe aSte to appreciate and team from their predecessors.
