This session features Indo-Trinidadian drumming. The instrumentation consists of two bass drums, two tassa (kettle) drums, and a cymbal. Although the musicians are identified as being Muslim, the performance itself is not religious and many people participate in the dancing. At least part of the performance (if not all of it) takes place on the street(s) of St. James.
