- This session features performances by members of the R0ose of Shannon Group. It involves a number of performance styles, including bélè (a creole drum dance that stems from the secular traditions of the French Windwards), kalenda (dance modeled on the movements of a martial art), and game songs. Many of the tracks feature Jean Eustache Stoute, the leader and “chief chantruelle” (Field Log), in a solo, a cappella setting.
