Charles Aricestine Henley
1949 -1993
Charles Aricestine Henley (better known as Eric) was
born on February 24, 1949 to Laurel Henley and Idalia
Parson on the island of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Eric grew up in the nurturing care of Wilhelmina Leanord
and attended the Virgin Island's public school system. Upon
completion of his education, Eric joined the US. Army and
honorably served his country during the Vietnam War from
January, 1969 to December, 1970.
After his military service Eric migrated to Brooklyn, New
York where he resided and made his livelihood in the plumb-
ing profession for several years. He returned to his native
homeland in March, 1991, where he continued his trade
faithfully.
On Tuesday, November 2 1993, Eric departed this life
while a patient at the Veterans Hospital in Rio Piedras,
Puerto Rico. We the family will miss him dearly, but we are
content in knowing that he was taken out of his suffering.
May he rest in peace.

Farewell
Sleep on, beloved, sleep, and take thy rest; lay down thy head upon thy
Savior's breast; We love thee well, but Jesus loves thee best. Good night
good night, good night
Lonice, Arid, Paul and Patrick
Even though you are gone, you will always be in our hearts because we
love you so. You were always kind and caring to both of us and proved to
us you were more than a brother. We will all hopefully meet you in
heaven, next to the loving Lord. Rest in peace and harmony.
Mernice Todman, and Rasheda Smith, your losing sister and nice
My beloved brother, Charles... There is so much that I did not get to
tell you. But the most important thing that I know and you knew was that
I will love you always. Nothing will lessen or take this love away. Rest in
peace, my brother, until we meet on that beautiful shore. God bless and
keep you.
Everlasting looe from your sister, Dede
Sleep on, beloved brother. You have gone home to be with the Lord. I
will miss you greatly and you will always be deep down in my heart. Rest
in peace.
From your sister Janice and family
