Dancers from
Belize are
not coming
MR. Morris Hall, Inuorma-
tion. Officer of the Govern-
ment Information Services in
Belize, regrets that his coun-
try's internationally famous
Carib dancers cannot be in
Georgetown for the Carib-
bean, Festival of Creativo
Arts. as' "they will be need-
ed at home for Week-long
national celebrations to begin
on September 10."
SMIr. Hall came into Guyana
on Tuesday night as the
Belize one-man delegation to
the Festival and he will
supervise an exhibition of
the works of Belize artists.
including the famous Lewis
Belisse and a few pieces by
Idr. Hall himself.
A former news editor of
"The Reporter", a Belize
newspaper, Mr. Hall has also
brought a number of publica-
tidns about his home and he
expects to distribute them to
Interested Guyanese with the
assistance of the Guyana In-
formation Services.
