For benefit

of Guyanese

SEVERAL world famous
dancers and choreographers,
who will be coming for CAR-
IFESTA with their troupes,
have agreed to hold anster
classes and dance work-
shops for the benefit of
Guyanese dancers.
The workshop, will be
held on Tuesdays, Thurs-
days, Saturdays and Sun-
days in the morning hours
during the three-week Cul-
tural Festival at the Guy-
ana Teachers Association
Hall, WooliEord Avenue.
The dance workshops will
be conducted by Mr. Rex
Nettleford, Director of the
Jamaica National Dance
Theatre Company, Miss La-
.vinia Williams, Director
Ballets El Haiti, and Mr.
Ronne Aul, Choreographer
of the Ballets Martiniquais.
The classes are open to
all interested persons and
a fee of $5.00 for the entire
series of classes and 50c. a
session will be targed.
Applications 'nust be sub-
nitted to the CARIFESTA'
Secretariat, National Park.
