EST ADO LIBRE ASOCIADO DE PUERTO RICO DEPARTAMENTO DE INSTRUCCION PUBLICA OFiCJNA DEL SUPERJNTENDENTE DE ESCUELAS NARANJJTO, PUERTO RICO Mr. J. L . Logan Principal Coral Way Elementary School April 26, 1967 1950 Southwest Thirteenth Avenue Miami, Florida 33145 Dear Mr. Logan: I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and your staff I and in particular to Mrs. Betty R. Adams, for your excellent hospitality. The experience we gained throughout our visit to your school will surely aid our English Program as a Second Language in Puerto Rico. Your new approach to bilingualism and team teaching gave us a whole new vision on how to tackle team planning and coopera tive teaching. The use of Audio-visuals is commendable and the creative ness of your students is exemplary. Your approach on tutoring rather than on lecturing by the teacher is worth to be tested at our level. We really enjoyed our stay in Miami because you, your staff and everyone we met made us feel at ease and at home. Thank you for your hos1d.tality and we sincerely hope that in a near future we will be in the position or receiving you and your staff in our school district. Truly yours,
