Abstract:
The idea of BFA was to combine a concept of body exploration with a personal structure. In this idea, I wanted to explore how a body is used to have another body to have a base of support and can repeat the same movement without it and see how it has to adjust. I was inspired by a personal situation that I experienced while growing up with my mother and two brothers in Puerto Rico. The concept grew as I wanted to be able to explore the different type of relationships between us. Now as we are separated for different reasons, the relationship that each of us had before adjusted, but kept the same strong base. ( en )
