Abstract:
This thesis, "Survey, Design, and Application of Electronic Musical Instruments", is a 3 phase thesis. The first is an introduction to the electronic devices used in modern musical devices. The second phase walks the reader through the design of a controller built for this study. The controller is user-programmable, and interfaces the user via a touchscreen, 8 rotary encoders, and a 256 LED matrix. Finally, example software applications are shown and explained. ( en )
