The sign in front of this tree reads, “The name of this tree is Ficus Benjamina. It was planted by His Royal Highness Prince Albert Duke of York. Afterwards His Majesty King George VI on his visit to this island at 4 p.m. on Monday 10th Feb. 1913.” Slide labeled Tree Planted by George VI. Barbados.
