Notes
- Abstract:
- On April 3, 2013, Benjamin Hebblethwaite interviewed Ati Max Beauvoir, one of Haiti's most accomplished Vodou priests at his temple in Mariani, Haiti. With his book, Le Grand Recueil Sacré ou Répertoire des Chansons du Vodou Haitien, which includes 1,763 Vodou songs, Ati Max provided a major contribution to Vodou studies. His book reveals the beauty and depth of this Haitian religion and it illustrates Vodou's place among the other world religions. Thank you, Ati Max, for sharing your thoughts with us! Richard Freeman did the camera work and Benjamin Hebblethwaite edited the video for the UF-Duke NEH Collaborative Grant.
