ders, Salvage Master of the Pa-
nama Canal's Industrial Bu-
reau at Gatun.
In addition to the Medal of
Honor, Badders is the holder
of the Distinguished Navy Cross
and the Navy Marine Corps
Medal for outstanding display
of courage in the rescue opea-
tions of the submarines "S-51"
(1926) and "Squalus" 11939).
Badders is credited with
saving 18 lives, among them a
CPO now stationed at Coco
Solo by the name of Priel, who
also will be on the progam.
After th- broadcast, adders
and other guests will proceed to
the home of Lt. Frank P. Al-
brook Post No. 3822, where he
will be sworn in as a member
of the VFW.
Badders also is one of the
designers of the rescue bell
