CCC ISSUES MONTHLY SALES LIST FOR JUNE 1978:

WASHINGTON, May 31--Minimum prices at which Commbdi rit no to fc ri,
commodity holdings will be available for sale during unJm re-announced
Ray Fitzgerald, CCC executive vice-president. These pNaees,"- uect to amendment,
become effective at 2:30 p.m. (EST) today and will continue until superseded by the
July monthly sales list. The June list of commodities is unchanged from the [0ay list.

In this sales list: "Unrestricted use" applies to sales which permit either
domestic or export use and "export" applies to sales, which require export.
"Market price" means prices as determined by CCC.

Nonfat dry milk, butter, cheese and rice are listed for unrestricted use sale.
Crude peanut oil and farmers stock peanuts are listed for restricted use sale.
Peanut oil stocks have been sold except for small reserves and is listed for
occasional sales that may be necessary as deliveries are being completed.

Odd lots and off-quality lots are sold promptly and may not appear in the
Monthly Sales List. CCC may limit sales quantities. 'onstorable commodities will
be sold at not less than the market price. Sales are not confined to delivery
positions that may be cited in commodity offerings. Minimum prices for ocher
positions are derived by applying adjustments for handling charges, etc.

CCC reserves the right to refuse to consider an offer if it does not have
adequate information of financial responsibility of the offerer to meet contract
obligations of the type contemplated in this announcement. interest at 10 percent
will be charged for delinquent payments on all sales.

On sales for which the buyer is required to submit to CCC proof of exportation,
the buyer shall be regularly engaged in the business of buying or selling commodities
and for this purpose shall maintain a bona fide business office in the United States,
its territories or possessions and have a person, principal, or resident agent upon
whom service or judicial process may be had.

Buyers are responsible for obtaining any required U.S. Government export permit
or license. Purchase from CCC shall noc constitute any assurance that any permit or
license will be granted by the issuing authority.

Exports to certain countries are regulated by the U.S. Department of Commece.
These restrictions also apply to any commodities purchased from the Commodity Credit
Corporation whether sold for restricted or unrestricted use. Countries and
commodities are specifically listed in the U.S. Department of Commerce Export
Control Regulations. Additional information is available from the Bureau of
Internal Commerce or from the field offices of the Department of Commerce.

Nonfat Dry Milk UNRESTRICTED USE SALES- (instore-Carlot Quantities)

1. Market price, but not less than 78 cents per
pound for U.S. Extra Grade spray process in 50
pound bags. Sales are made under Announcement
PV-DS-2.

2. Competitive offer basis: From time to time an
invitation will be issued for competitive offers
under Announcement PV-DS-1 to purchase nonfat
dry milk which is 20 months old or older and/or
has moisture content of 4.2 percent but not more
than 5.0 percent.


Butter UNRESTRICTED USE SALES: (instore-Carlot Quantities)

Market price, but not less than 11 cents per pound
over CCC's purchase price at each location for
U.S. Grade A or higher in 60 to 68-pound blocks.
Sales are made under Announcement PV-DS-2.


Cheddar Cheese UNRESTRICTED USE SALES: (instore-Carlot Quantities)

Market price, but not less than $1.14 per pound
(standard moisture basis) for U.S. Grade A or higher
in 40 pound blocks. Sales are made under Announcement
PV-DS-2.


Rice, Rough UNRESTRICTED USE SALES: (f.o.b. warehouse)

The minimum price is the market price but not less than
the formula price. The formula price is 155% of the
1977 loan rate plus 65 cents per hundredweight. Basis of
Sale is f.o.b. warehouse as is, or at the buyers option,
basis outturn weights and grades.

available, lot lists or invitations to bid will be issued
by peanut associations for submission of competitive bids
to the Producer Associations Division. Association and
Producer Associations Division addresses are listed on the
last page of this press release.

Permissable uses of the peanuts, which are listed in more
detail in announcement PR-1, include the export of shelled
peanuts, of any type, which grade U.S. Splits or U.S. No. 1
or better or "With Splits" grades as defined in Marketing
Agreement for Peanuts No. 146, and the remaining kernels
crushed domestically or exported for crushing if fragmented
in accordance with PR-1.


Peanuts Sales for Domestic Crushing and Domestic Use of Oil
Farmers (Segregation 1, 2, and 3 lots) (FOB origin)
Stock
Competitive offer basis under Announcement PR-DCR-1.
Adjustments in the sales price will be made after
delivery per Announcement PR-DCR-1. Proof of domestic
use of peanut oil will be required per Announcement PR-DCR-1.
For segregation 3 lots meal use restriction is subject to
PPB count for aflatoxin.

bid will be issued by peanut associations for
