CURRENT INDUSTRIAL REPORTS STitanium Ingot, Mill Products, W and Castings U.S Department of Commerce SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 1982 BUREAU OF THE CENSUS ITA-991(821-9 & 10 BUREAU OF INDUSTRIAL ECONOMICS Issued January 1983 The total production of titanium ingot for October was 3.6 million pounds. This represented a 7-percent increase from the September total of 3.4 million pounds. Consumption of titanium ingot increased by 1 percent in October to 3.5 million pounds from 3.4 million pounds in September. Net shipments of titanium mill products decreased by 19 percent to 2.4 million pounds in October from 3.0 million pounds in September. Total shipments of titanium castings for October amounted to 43 thousand pounds.
