Throughout its isory, Governmnt House has served many
purposes. In the 19lOs, the drecison wca made to again
repurpose the de. Many rooms were conp ltely s~rpped and
given new uses. or example, the ftomer mdboom, which had
more recently served as an aum ortunm, was turnd into a space
that would become a museum in 1991.
In 2007, FlMada's Sale Le&ilalure transferred management of
Govenment House to hse Unhwlery af FPloda.
