The North America Map Collection holds maps of the North American continent, mostly north of Mexico and the Caribbean basin. North America is bordered on the north by the Arctic Ocean, on the east by the North Atlantic Ocean, on the southeast by the Caribbean Sea, and on the south and west by the North Pacific Ocean; South America lies to the southeast. Maps focused on Florida and the Caribbean basin may be found in sepatate collections.

Maps in this collection are held in large part by the University of Florida's Map and Imagery Library and by the P.K. Yonge Library of Florida History in the Department of Special Collections.
