The Sigismond deRudesheim Diettrich Papers includes manuscripts for several works, some unpublished, primarily on geographic studies of Florida and Eastern Europe. Of special interest is his correspondence related to his resignation and attempted suicide in 1959. Correspondence also includes a series of letters with Wallace W. Atwood, President of Clark University. Atwood's son, Rollin Salisbury Atwood, was also a member of the Department of Geography.
